 Castello Pipes from Cantu' Italy

Since 1985 Castello Pipes from Cantu' Italy has been PCCA's primary line from Italy having sold well in excess of 10,000 Castello pipes over the years. Our current selection is limited in number but exceptional in quality with both unusual and standard shapes available.  We expect to expand our Castello selection of shapes and finishes on a regular basis as special Castello pieces become available.

New Castello Smooth Silver & BriarHandmade Pipe Tool Tamper

Nice medium size limited issue handmade high grade silver and briar pipe tool. Castello briar with heavy silver spine and tamper. Length = 3.00 inches +/-. Very difficult to find today as they were made 8-10 years ago. This is a heavy tool due to the amount of silver. The silver pick-point is sharp, best used at home and not carried in your pocket. Suggested retail is in the $375 range if you can find one.

Only 1 tamper left !  $249.95.

Castello 40th year 1987 - 2 pipe Limited Edition set

This is a rare 40th year Anniversary 2 pipe set released in 1987 for the Italian market. The USA Market had a modified 293 shape 40th year piece which was distributed in the USA only, but it was modern production. There were only 50 of these sets produced in 1987, 48 were released by Castello.

This 2 pipe set includes a leather case and the 2 pipes, one is a Mi Reserva piece from 1947 the other is a 1987 piece in a matching shape more or less. The 1987 piece is a modern size, medium over all, but the 1947 piece is small, very lightweight and more in tune with the first year Castello pipes.

I'm not sure if the 1947 piece was made in 1987 using original 1947 blocks or if it was actually produced in 1947. The finish looks modern, but the shape and style are old. 1987 is also the first year that Castello started dating their pipes, the smooth piece includes the "40" for 1987 date stamp. You can get an idea of the size of these pieces from the photos. however we'll add a bit more information below. 806CAS019

1947 pipe: Weight 0.7 oz or 20 grams, over all length is about 5.50 inches, bowl height is about 1 5/8's inches.

1987 pipe: Weight 1.2 oz or 34 grams, over all length is about 5.75 inches, bowl height is about 2.00 inches.
